X had gone and explored a group of Maverick bases finding no one but soldiers waiting for him. He had used his X Buster to pulverize his enemies and had not seen a worthy fight all day.

As he explored the final base he had finished off all other forces in their and as he was about to leave a giant scythe attacked him. He barely dodged it and had attacked with his X Buster. He had saw a robed Maverick as he shot and missed it.

The Maverick went for it's scythe and tried to slash X but X saw this and changed his ability to Sting Chameleons ability launching needles that destroyed the Maverick when a virus attacked him. He had felt funny and suddenly something happend to him.
