X entered the Base and set Zero down, who sulked off somewhere. It didn't take long for the others to appear and congratulate him on a job well done. X was really enjoying the attention, but it was short lived as Alia appeared.

"Yes, yes, it's all very impressive, but now he must be examined. So shoo everyone!"

The others left reluctantly, and Axl stayed behind.

"Can't I stay a little longer?" He asked.

Alia rolled her eyes and said, "Fine, if you must.

Axl said, "Yes!" and went to a catwalk to see better.

"Alright X. We're just going to run some routine tests to see how your body is coping with the changes. You're going to have to lay down.

X complied and laid down. Alia and a small group of scientists started dettaching his armor. After it was all removed, they started attaching nodes to different parts of his body. Axl covered his eyes, embarrased at seeing his friends nakedness. It didn't take long for readings to come beeping out of the machines. Alia studied the results and said, "This is the best we can do until I can get some bigger instruments...We'll do this again in about a weeks time alright X?"

"You got it Alia!" X said, reattching his armor.

As soon as he was done, Axl jumped up waving his arms.

"Hey X! Over here!"

X went over and held out his hand. Axl jumped on, grinning from ear to ear.

"This is so cool!" He cheered.

X headed down to the gym, thinking Axl probably went back there after being denied a fighting workout. Halfway there, Axl said, "Can you make me a giant too?"

X thought about if for a second. He like being the only giant around and being able to take out entire armies by himself. That effect would be diminished with another giant. But it could also make things a lot easier if the Mavericks sent out even bigger armies.
