My name is Joe and I'll tell you the story of Tyler, my little brother. I'm 18 years old, and Tyler is 12, but Tyler, or Ty, ended up bigger than me... A lot bigger! He's practically a giant boy now, even though he's still 12 years old. I'm 6ft tall and Ty was 5ft tall, and we had a good relationship.

It all started when mom took Tyler to the doctor just at the start of the annual flu season. Ty had just gotten over another bad cold, and mom just didn't want Ty to end up missing a ton of school because he was sick again. Last year, he almost missed a whole month's worth of school, and it was a nightmare for him to get all caught up on all the missed classes, let alone all the homework assignments. Mom ended up spending every afternoon and evening, working with Ty and helping him get all caught up with his classes and his homework.

Mom took Ty to the doctor's office, where the doctor sent them to teh lab so he could get his flu shot. Fortunately for him, they were doing all kinds of research at that same lab, where Ty was due for his shot. Due to some freaky mistake, the lab technician mixed up the vials of teh flu shot and the growth serum, and the nurse injected Ty with this weird serum instead. nobody knew this of course, until a day later, when the mistake was discovered. But the people at the lab decided to stay quiet, and wait it out until they would hear back from our mom first.

In the meantime, Mom came home from the doctor's office and Ty showed off the band-air on his arm, right where his elbow was.

"Look, Joe! I got my shot!"

"Yeah yeah...." I said to him...

I was proud of the little tyke. He was only 5 feet tall, and he was short and skinny, and I knew how much he hated going to the doctor. Still, he was brave, and he didn't cry this time.

Still, something weird started to happen to him, since he came home from the doctor that day. It seemed as if he would just grow bigger and more muscular...
