She doesn't bother getting off the sofa, which worries you a little. She looks utterly confident, implying by her lack of motion that somehow you wouldn't make it two steps if you tried to run.

"When a new student arrives, they are to sign in at the front desk, then proceed to the nurse for a physical and distrobution of medicines. It says this in the entry letter. I don't recall it saying anything about eating an expensive secretary clone without permission or prowling the halls immediately after to devour an Advanced Student!"

You wince at her tone, and try to think up an excuse. You barely have your mouth open when she holds up a single finger for silence.

"I'm not through. If you're going to attend this school, you're going to have to learn far more respect for the rules than you've shown. We pride ourselves on being free-thinking and open-minded...but even we have rules to abide by. Now you may speak in your defense, if you like."

As she finishes speaking, her belly jiggles, a muffled voice from inside yelling at her that she can stuff her rules. Ironic, given where that voice is coming from. She doesn't even twitch, her eyes locked on yours.
