You take the book and start reading where she points. The words are strange and you stumble and have to restart several times. Faliel seems unconcerned, even encouraging. She reminds you that nobody does anything right the 1st time. You are not doing any worse than she did her 1st time.
But you are starting to think of giving up when there is suddenly a bright light in front of you, bright enough to blind you. Then it explodes with enough force to drive you back and blow loose papers all round the room.

As you recover, you can only mutter "Wow!"
