Not that he isn't a nice guy. In fact he is rather cute. Odds are you would accept his offer of a movie, and if he tried to steal a kiss during it, you would object of course, but not in a way that would stop him.
Of course that is really much of the problem. Some jerk of a boy, you could just put in his place if he suggested something improper. But this lad looks really nice, and you don't want to hurt his feelings. Even ignoring that it would be unkind, something might develop between the two of you and you don't want to spoil that chance.
That would only be enough to make you nervous. But this stud had been listening to the lecture. He is nude, and all too obviously glad to see you.
"Hi, I'm Richard, Rick to my friends and roommates." He advances towards you as if he intends a passionate kiss and hug, possibly followed by carrying you to a bed that is filling too much of your vision.
Suppressing questions about whether anyone would take seriously a claim that you didn't resist rape because he was a nice boy, you try to find the way to explain you are not that kind of girl. And you have to do so quickly, or you will be. "Pleased to meet you. I'm Gia. Ah... The Vice-principal said the first thing I should do is take a shower."
That slows him down a bit. But boys are ever over-optimistic. "That's right. I should take one too. The shower is a bit cramped for two, but..." Clearly he does not consider that completely a disadvantage.
"No, no. We are not rushed for time." There is an implication here that you will say yes in the future, but you aren't promising anything. Besides he's not an impossible guy. You might say yes, someday. Just so it is not today.
With that, you flee to the bathroom, thankful that you are at least rational enough to recognize the right door. You do manage to avoid slamming it in your rush, but it is still hardly a stately exit. Once within the bathroom, you relax, leaning with back bracing the door.
You are not sure if it is a good or bad sign that your breath and heartbeat are fast. You don't think any boy has ever affected you this much. Does that mean you are scared of him? Or excited? Both is a definite option.
As you work to get your emotions under control, you consider what to do next. The shower is obviously on the schedule, but as long as you have this door between you and him, you will feel much more comfortable talking with him, and you do want to learn about your roommate. But you will look such a coward talking from behind a closed door. Maybe wait until the showers are done?
Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
