"Feeling a bit deferential? Well, it's not unusual. Being eaten takes a fair amount out of you. even if it is not physical. Of course, some of it is just natural. Somebody has beaten you, and it is best to not cross them again. But the eating also tends to consume your courage and makes you more willing to obey. If you get eaten often enough by the same person, you can end up a slave, at least for a time."

"Yuk, that is terrible." But you can't help feeling you would have objected a lot more if you had been told of this earlier. "I had best stay away from her."

"That sounds wise. The effects are mostly temporary, so if you can stay out of her belly for a week, or even a few days, you should be back to normal."

And you do as you open the door. A quick glance spots the approaching blond, in time to duck back inside, slam the door, and brace yourself against it.
"She's out there, waiting for me. Is there another way out?"

"No, and I can't let you stay here. This is my work area, and I can't spare the space to protect students from each other. There are just too many students."

"But I can't go out there. I'd be eaten in no time! Please, isn't there some alternative? Please..."

"Well... You could stay here as my lunch..."

"Great, I get a choice of who I will be a slave to."

"Oh, it's not that bad. I don't want you as a slave, so you should be able to get away."

"But maybe I can outrun that blond and won't have to be eaten at all..."

"You could get lucky, but I'd say you will be more likely to succeed with me. However, you are going to have to decide quickly. It's just about break, and snack, time for me."
