"I have an idea, we should.." You cut off as the ground shakes. "What the hell was that?" The sound seems to be getting closer, coming from the inland but as you are both looking out to sea on the beach and can't move your head far enough to turn around you have no idea what it is. "Becky, can you see!?"

"No.." She says, her voice having a touch of a whimper in it.

"Look, if we work together we can get out of here just.." You pause once more as a giant shadow looms over the both of you. Becky starts to scream and you hold your breath, still struggling to look who or what it is.
