This choice: "Forget the shelter for now. Let's go look around." | Go Back Chapter 6: A Waltz on the Beach (ID #486631) an addition by: Aurtorius ![View aurtorius's Portfolio. "We can make the shelter later, and if a storm does hit the island we can always take shelter in the trees." Emily smiled and looked into your eyes. "What do you want to do then?"
You pause for a moment, thinking, "Wanna just walk for awhile?" Emily smiled, "sure."
The two of you get dressed and begin to move down the beach. There isn't much to see, but you are satisfied spending time with her.
After awhile, you wander across an old hut. Its up the beach a ways, right at the edge of the forest. It's completely constructed out of dried reeds and pieces of driftwood, but it looks like it would hold. Emily brightened up, "we can use this place for our shelter!"
You almost agree, but then stop. "Wait, somebody built this. They could be around here anywhere. If they're stranded like us, they might not even speak the same language!" Emily peered at the hut for a few moments, and then scanned the tree line. "I don't see anybody around, and this is going to be alot easier than building a shelter would be. I say we use it for now. What other choice do we really even have?"
You think for a moment, and then agree."Alright, but I still don't like this." The two of you enter the hut, gazing at the unspectacular emptiness. You sigh, "this place looks abandoned. There are no supplies or anything. Just a stupid little reed-bed-thing and some empty coconuts... We'll have to go get food from the forest then."
You look at Emily and say... Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
