"The three of us will go into the jungle and find them." The horse replies.

"Yes Mistress." You and Emily reply in unison and follow the mare out of the hut and into the jungle.

The mare seems to know exactly where she's going as she leads the two of you through the trees.

As you walk behind the horse you ask, "Mistress what can you tell us about you and all these other beings that inhabit this island?"

"Some of us look like normal animals on the surface like me." The mare explains, "Others look like creatures out of mythology, some are flesh eating plants and the waters around the island are filled with aquatic beings. But some beings defy description."

You shiver at the thought of encountering something like that.

"All of us are powerful and can use magic. We spend some of our time preying on each other." The mare continues, "When a being is killed a new being mysteriously appears on the island. It is said that the new being is a reincarnation of whatever being was just killed. But they have no memories so no one is sure."

"Mistress you said you only spend some of your time hunting each other. What do you do the rest of the time?" Emily asks as the three of you keep walking.

"Some of it is spent hunting humans like you." The mare whinnies in amusement, "You're such puny creatures physically and mentally compared to any being on the island. It's considered a status symbol to have a human as a pet or a slave like you two. Humans are also considered a delicacy though not all beings prefer to use their mouth. Some will happily shove you into their rear, womb, cock or other bizarre places."

You shiver again and hope that you never get shoved anywhere like that.

The horse neighs, "Needless to say humans are in high demand. But sometimes they manage to survive and form small tribes of primitive cannibals. There are a few of those tribes on the island right now."

"When new humans show up on the island there are always too few to go around. So there is always fierce fighting and many beings devour each other."

"They won't hurt you will they Mistress?" Emily asks worriedly.

"Do not worry slave girl. I'm the most powerful being on the island. Nothing would dare try to eat me." The mare gloats.
