You take a few moments to deceide then scramble to your feet and walk cautiously into the cavern. The entrance gets dark quickly as you move in, wofting your hands in front of you to make sure you don't go headfirst into anything.

As you go further in, you smell sulphur and see a light, a glowing red filling up what looks to be the center of the volcano.

Curiousity leads you in further and as you blink your way into the light of the cavern you see that the volcano is more active than you thought... not only with lava in a pit below but around the walkway you stand on, you see more tunnels or passages spread in a circle around the lava pit.

Someone must live here you think to yourself... but who lives in a volcano you wonder.

It doesn't look like you will have to wait long for your answer, the cavern vibrates to the sound of heavy footsteps and you quickly duck behind a rock just barely big enough to cover you from the direction they are coming from.

Not soon after, you peak out as the sounds come even closer, you see a pair of tails and as you look even more, a scaly, lizard like body, you can't believe it, they look like dragons! Perhaps the sulfur was getting to your head but eitherway you didn't want to be spotted as they moved towards the exit you came from.

You shimmy around the rock to stay out of view. Whilst you are unable to see them the footsteps suddenly stop, you freeze as well.
