You hear it trailing off to the distance and sigh heavily in relief.
Content that the threat has pass you get up, still a bit disorientated from the bash to the head. On your feet now you feel your legs wobble beneath you. Your first step is misjudged and you stumble a few steps then fall over... noisily.. into a bush. Birds fly out of it, chirping away as they do.
"Oh crap..."
The hunt resumed. You still had no idea who or what was after you but again it was, and you were stuck in a bleedin' bush!
You grunted and squirmed but in vein, your clothes were trapped in the twiggy bits of the bush and you had no energy left at all it seemed. All the same, it would be too late, the noise of your pursuer was on top of you, you pulled down the bush on top of you, hoping the leaves would cover you enough... Where will this story go next?
