"Well it's not like I got any of the other fishes I've tried catching." You mutter as you sit back down to get ready for the next fish that'll get close enough.

After just a minute you spot another tasty looking fish. Another minute and it is almost within your reach.

Then once again you see something dart out from under your raft and catch your fish. All you manage is to shout out your frustration:

"That one was mine dammit!"

To your surprise the creature stops and swims to the surface looking just as surprised as you.

A meter away from you, you see what can only be described as a mermaid. She has long dark hair that due to it's soaked state clings to her back it obviously reaches further than her waist, but how far is hard to tell since only her waist and up is above the surface.

She is very pretty and has proportionally large perky breasts that you find difficult not to look at. The fact that she's completely naked appears to be something natural for her because she doesn't cover herself up at all. She just looks up at you with her large beautiful eyes.

"It speaks? What is it?"

"It?" You answer taken aback a little not only does she not know what a human is she speaks English too.

She just gives you a funny look and repeats her question. "What is it?"

"I'm Jaerod and I'm a human."

She swims a little closer to you and you suddenly realize that she's not very big at all maybe just a foot and a half from head to tail.
