"What do you mean examine? If you want to know more about me, just ask." You tell her, still rather curious to find out just what this examination will detail.

The one named Geala lets out a frusturated sigh, then looks at you full on with her enchanting, almost hypnotic eyes, "I need to find out if you are edible, and if you taste good. If you don't come into the water, I can't find that out."

Her tone was firm and a tad aggrivated, but for some reason you can't stop looking into her eyes. "If I'm edible? You mean you plan on eating me?" You are suprised that even though are nervous, your voice almost sounded monotone, like a drone or something. Back in high school, you learned about a creature called sirens whose voices had hypnotic powers. You thought things like that were just myths though.

Geala puts her hands on her hips, right where her body becomes fish like, and gives you an annoyed stare. "Duh. Of course! You 'humans' are obviously not a bright bunch. Now get over here." Her tone has become much more menacing, and you find yourself obeidiently climbing over the edge of your raft.

With you now afloat in the water, Geala swims up to you. Suddenly, she drops below the water, breaking eye contact with you. You find clear thought beginning to return to your mind. Maybe you should get out of the water, fast.
