You just sit in stunned silence as you watch the two miniature mermaids talk to each other about your ability to speak. Your silence is probably what saved your life, because what could only be discribed as a sea monster suddenly surfaced behind the two mermaids. As if it's happening in slow motion the sea monster opens it's huge teeth filled mouth and lunges at the two mermaid.

"EEEEEEKKKKKK!" The two mermaids scream as you see them slide down the monster's throat and dissappear from sight. Now that it has a full and visibly bulging belly the sea monster just ignores you and swims back out to sea. It takes about 5 minutes after the sea monster left for your shock to wear off.

Well now that those stupid mermaid are gone you don't have to worry about anything stealing the fish you catch, you realize. So you decide to just continue fishing.
