You scream as your head briefly gets pulled beneath the water but you keep struggling and eventually get loose and start swimming away, behind you the shadow is circling, about to attack again. You swim towards the island as fast as you can, not looking back again and breathing quickly almost in a panicked way.

Behind you the creature still approaches, suddenly your leg is pulled on downwards, your head sinks beneath the water and you flip around to try and push off the thing that has now cut into your leg with razor sharp teeth, bubbles blowing from your mouth as you don't manage to get a breath in.

One of your arms flails to try and let you rise above the water whilst the other touches your attacker, you open your eyes, the salt water stinging them and the blood clouding your view but you can just about see now...
