Buttercup sighed as she watched tv.

She was the only Powerpuff Girl who didn't have any plans for the summer following their graduation. Blossom was on her world tour, and Bubbles was... somewhere. And although the Professor had left for two weeks to attend a science convention, this just meant Buttercup was by herself with nothing to do for half a month.

An idea came to Buttercup. Although it wouldn't be nothing more than a way to kill time, it was still something, she could rummage through the Professor's lab.

Buttercup had moved a few items in the Proffesor's lab around. She was putting a few papers in a stack when she saw a container.

"Warning: Failed Experiments. Non-Toxic" The box read.

If's it not toxic, why the warning? Buttercup thought. Curious, she opened the container.

Inside were five vials of some chemical, and a few papers. Buttercup than realized that whatever this stuff was would probably be something that gave people superpowers. She picked up a paper inside and read from said paper.

"Absorbium." Buttercup read aloud, rolling her eyes at the lack of originality. "Increases a person's ability to absorb and retain liquids. Tests prove that effects are permanent, and exceed desired objectives."

Buttercup was, for some reason, intrigued. She began to read through the other papers.
