The journey from Corescent to Tatooine is a long one, since Tatooine lies near the outer rim. Tatooine has a rough history--home of the Huts, long time gangsters, and home of the Skywalkers, once slaves but later became free and shaped the future of the Galaxy. Now, slavery no longer exists, but its remenants created a permanent underclass of starving people, former slaves and descendants of slaves. It was in Tatooine where the young Helene came to serve the poor and fulfill her calling to lead a selfless life. Her work led her to Lucilius the Hut, who saw in her determination and a strong gift in the force. Lucilius had no knowlege of her past, but only knew she had left home at an early age.

The reddish-orange hue of Tatooine came into view, and she landed near the palace of her mentor, Lucilius the Hut. He was meditating on the news that came from Corescent hours before when Helene entered the chamber.

"I have been expecting you," Lucilius said in his soft, melodius voice. His body was slim for a slug, and he reclined on a matress. His eyelids remained closed, though he seemed to be watching her nevertheless.

"You know me well, Master Lucilius."

"Officially I am your master no longer. The order came from Master Jedi Skywalker himself."

"Shall I pack my things?"

For the first time, Lucilius the Hut sat up and opened his eyes. "Oh no. You must fulfill your destiny."

"But the council..."

"Don't mind them. You are still needed here. Regardless of the trials, your training was to end anyway. I have taught you all you need to know already."

Helene smiled. "You taught me well, Master. They cannot take that away."

"Master Skywalker suggests you wait for a new opportunity. He believes you have a special role in future events, and this setback is the will of the force."

"What does that mean?"

"It means you will face your trials, but it may not be the trials you expect."

Moments later, there came a scream from outside. Helene looked out the window and saw a black-hooded figure wielding a blood red lightsaber. It looked directly at her as it sliced a gash into the side of a child who had been playing in the sand.
