Juno cradled the child in his arms, putting gentle pressure on the child's wound, and followed Helene into the main chamber of Lucilius the Hut's palace. The Jedi Master sat upright as if waiting for them to enter.

"Lay the child on the mat," Lucilius said, motioning with his tail.

Juno obeyed.

Lucilius studied Juno's face. "You dress like a Jedi, yet I don't know you."

"I'm Juno Serat."

"Joon-Li's padawan? Last time I saw you, you were shoveling Bantha dung."

"I'm no longer a padawan, Master Lucilius. Now I shovel my dung with a lightsaber."

"Joon-Li must be proud."

Lucilius looked at the child. "Helene, go out to the moisture vaporator and bring me a tub of water. I must tend to this child."

Helene walked outside to fetch the water. All the while, she felt a disturbance in the force. The dark knight must still be around--she could feel his presence. She went all the way to the vaporator and filled a tub nearly full or water. It reminded her of the old days when Lucilius often made her do chores as part of her physical conditioning. As she returned to the palace, the uneasy feeling became stronger. She sensed that something is not right. She dropped the tub of water and dashed into the palace.

Lucilius lay slain on the floor, along with the child. Juno lay next to the child.

"Master!" Helene screamed.

Juno stirred.

"What happened?"

"I was right," Juno said, holding a wound in his side. "You didn't kill the dark knight."
