Helene looked at Juno. "What do you have in mind?"

"Go out into the field," Juno said. "Go alone. And lay your lightsaber on the sand. The dark knight will come to you. Do not move unless absolutely necessary to defend yourself."

"Why would that work? Wouldn't he just attack me?"

"No. He is waiting for a sign. He wants to talk to you."

"He's a coward if you ask me. He disappeared on me during the fight, and he strikes down my master while I'm away."

But Helene was willing to do anything to find the dark knight. She did as Juno suggested.

Helene stood in the field alone with her saber on the sand at her feet. She waited as her skin felt the heat of the suns.

She felt a presence behind her.

"Don't turn around," a sinister voice said.
