Master Luke handed down the council's decision: "The wisdom of the Jedi council has decided to bar you from the Jedi trials. Master Lucilius the Hut will be ordered to immediately stop your training. The council wishes you the best, even though your path is not the path of the Jedi."
Helene clenched her teeth. Master Luke may have been a great leader in the past, but he was obviously weak and ineffective now. "Master Luke, the council is wrong! You have no right to bar me from the order because of the sins of my grandfather!" She shook her fist at the council members.
"You see," said Joon-Li to Master Luke, "she cannot control her anger. Obviously not Jedi material. I said so all along."
"Please calm down," Luke said to Helene. "You are not helping your cause by this display of anger."
She glared at Luke. "You are weak, Master Skywalker. Maybe you should step down from the council. You are not a leader!"
"She even reflects poorly on her Jedi Master," Joon-Li continued. "It was a mistake to make a Hut a Jedi. They are gangsters, as we all know."
Helene went for her lightsaber, but Joon-Li beat her to the draw. "How dare you draw your saber on the Jedi council. Not only will you not be a Jedi, you are now our prisoner."
By now, every member of the Jedi council had drawn their lightsabers, except for Luke and one other council member. "Helene, you must accept the decision of the council," Luke said. "It is the only way. Now I must take you into our custody." Luke raised his hand, and Helene's lightsaber shot into his palm. With another gesture, Helene lifted off the ground and became encased in an invisible force field.
