"I'm five-eight, 310," says Reuger.
"And I'm six-four, 540," declares Chad.
"You do weigh over 500!" Pete blurts out.
"Yeah, I celebrated the b ig 5-0-0 last winter," Chad replies. "What do you weigh?" he asks Pete.
"I'm six feet and 350," Pete says, "or at least I think about 350 - I haven't been on a scale in a long time."
"You know," remarks Reuger, "That means the four of us together weigh over three-quarters of a ton."
"Three-quarters of a ton?" Chad asks.
"Well, if Pete is 350, then we weigh 1565 altogether."
"You always were the math whiz," Chad noted. "Well, what are we waiting for? Only three-quarters of a ton? We'd better work on adding the rest of that ton!" Chad went on joshingly. "Hey Bennett, you ever going to put any meat on that scrawny frame?" he directs at the guy whose height and shoulders match Adam, but whose build runs to muscle, not gut. "I'm sure you'd get us at least, what, 200 pounds closer to the ton?"
"Hey, I passed 200 a long time ago!" retorts Bennett. "Can't be a linebacker and be that small! But, yeah, I could add a few pounds to my... Where will this story go next? Your choices are below...
