As plateful after plateful of delicious Chinese food slide down into huge, hungry bellies, you slowly get introduced to the king-sized cohort. Beside him is Mark, and the next one down is Devyn. At the steam table Perry introduces Steven, and on the way back with a plate of food Brianna says hello, followed by Brian (who says that they are twins!).

Back at the table Perry introduces Maisy, then Emma, each of whom are carrying an extra plate, which they set down at the end of the table. A moment later the last of the group, and the biggest, appears carrying two mounded plates himself. He drops onto the broad, heavy chair at the end of the table and Perry introduces him.

"Pete, this is Roddy," Perry says in a voice that's almost deferential. "Roddy, Pete." My God, you think to yourself, looking at Roddy's vastness, he makes Perry look small!

Roddy looks up and his eyes smile at you out of a broad, fat face that still seems very strong. "Hi Pete, I'm Roddy - Rowdy Roddy if you like, and I'm the biggest of this bunch. But any friend of Perry's is a friend of mine. You like food and fun, you've met the right crowd." He plows into his food and says through a mouthful, "Eat up!"

"Roddy is the state collegiate sumo champ," Perry remarks, his voice still showing a touch of awe.

"Yup!" Roddy agrees, "and a powerlifter, and I was on the football team too - keep threatening to go back, though with these girls feeding me up, I may have gotten too fat!" He grins and slaps his enormous belly with one ham-sized hand.

"How...how big are you?" Pete asks, then adds, "you must be the biggest sumo ever."

"Nah, not the biggest here, or in Japan," remarks Roddy, "the biggest Japanese guy was 555 pounds, and the biggest American Sumo was 720 pounds!" Roddy then adds,
