The next day at school went very well in my favor. I breezed through my various classes with lots of enthusiasm. It wasn't every day that I felt so genuinely happy and confident. Even my best friends Kim, Ashley and Stan (not so much him, too busy tinkering with his toys to notice anything going on). This eventually culminated at lunch time...

"So who's the lucky girl?" Ashley asked. 

"Eh??" I asked.

"Don't play dumb!" Kim laughs "It's unusual to see you so...full of life..."

"Alright alright..." I sigh "Her name is Crystal, I met her at the library...speaking of which, I have to get going there or I'll be late so bye"

The two just looked on dumbfounded as I left.

"Huh? Did I miss something?" Stan asked.

Meanwhile, I rushed as fast as I could to the public library.

"Today's gonna be great!" I thought to myself "I wonder Crystal's doing..."
