Maybe I was being selfish, I don't know... but as I found myself having this internal dialogue with myself, it didn't take long for me to realize that I had drifted outside the school and was now standing on the sidewalk. Realziing I could get in big trouble for being seen out of school during classes, I ran and hid behind a nearby brick wall when I heard some conversation. There were several male voices and a lone female voice. For whatever reason I found myself sympathizing with the female voice moreso than I wouldve had I still been a guy.
