Finally, you decided to go back inside and keep an eye on your cousins. It was the right thing to do, after all. Even though you couldn't stand to be around them for too long.
You enter the house and expect to see your cousins still watching TV, but are surprised when the entire downstairs area is completely empty. The TV was still blaring, though. "That was nice of them," you say, turning the TV off.
You hear laughing coming from upstairs. "They'd better not be messing with my stuff,"you think to yourself, as you walk upstairs to investigate.
First, you check your Aunt and Uncle's bedroom. Dora was notorious for sneaking into her parent's room and trying on her mother's make-up. You open the door. No one there.
Still, the laughing continues. You walk down the hallway, towards the sound of the laughter. You stop at your bedroom door. You put your ear up to the door and hear the sound of saran wrap being pulled. They found the cake!
