I work in an IT department, so this year we put up our crappy, fake, little Charlie Brown tree with a twist. I introduce the Geek Tree. The lights are standard Christmas lights, but otherwise this tree is total, tacky geek. The "garland" is beige printer cables, the "tinsel" is the perforated edges of dot matrix printing paper, the "ornaments" are computer mice, telephones, software CDs, and ethernet cable, and the "star" is a giant asterisk printed out in size 200 Courier font. Our tree is the pride of the whole building.
