Not sure what I'm doing here, but it's easier to make a photo album so they say.

Here goes.
 Photo: Stormy sunset, two
Around nine fifteen in the evening, there was a purplish residue leftover in the sky which I did not highlight here with Photoshop. Lazy! And I was too impatient to wait for a series of lightning a... [Click For More] Photo: Stormy sunset
The time was 20:58. The sky was purplish and when I got to the window with the camera, the pink in the clouds was extraordinary. This was after the five minutes of rain. Photo: Summer storm in Lyons
The view from Pierre's windows, with a wonderfully nasty sky. Photo: Gull n° 1 - close up
Photoshop helped just a tad with the lighting and created an interesting silhouette. Photo: Gull n° 1 - close up, on our balcony railing
How do I know it's the same gull? They all look alike, but there were only two who really posed for me.
Photo: Gull n° 1 admiring the harbor
Same shot as the preceding one, with more detail in the background. Photo: Gull n° 2 (yes!) and magnicicent sky
He seemed just as impressed with the sky as I was. I took many pictures of the sky that evening. Alas, the storm it suggested never arrived. Photo: Devil's red sunset
With, I admit, a slight, yes slight, altering of the sky's hue by Photoshop's genious. Photo: Inspiration for Devil's Red Sunset
No Photoshop, only the Sunset mode setting on the camera. Photo: Before the storm hit sunset
Normal mode on the camera; no color alteration with Photoshop. I adored this sunset and have ten wonderful shots of the menacing gray skies with sunset trying to pierce its way through them.
Photo: Sunset with the harbour's entrance
Too calm that evening. I should have used Photoshop to bring out the pinks which were wonderful. Photo: Close up of the reflection in the harbor.
My favorite type of shot in this location - the colors playing amonst the cable crisscrossing of the sailboats . Photo: Close up of the red sailboat.
Pierre saw it leave the port one morning when he was first to get to the balcony. It was the only original splash of color in the harbor close to our vision. Naturally the picture was taken from ou... [Click For More] Photo: The calmness of lunchtime waters.
No air at all that day, the waters were unmoving. It was a lousy day for watching sailboats leave the harbor. Notice how few boats are in the sea between the harbor and La Grande Motte on the horizo... [Click For More] Photo: From the inside looking out
This is the general view awaiting our eager eyes daily. You have, on the horizon, the white blocks of the city across the Golfe du Lion which is called La Grande Motte. Then the Gulf itself and to ... [Click For More]
 Photo: Our Summer Residency
This year we were in the apartment second block from the left, fourth floor. If you get out your magnifying glasses, Pierre is leaning on the balcony. It costs a hell of a lot of money to buy one o... [Click For More] Photo: A more marsh like expanse, a haven for hundreds of birds.
Shallower waters here, still in the Rhône delta, but this area is a natural reserve for wildlife and plants. Photo: The Rhône Delta waters with typical swamp vegetation.
Many are succulent and others have rather sharp leaves. The growth is most always low and close to the ground.. The ground covering is a pearly white sand. Photo: The Rhône Delta waters
The day was gloomy. Photo: Rice field in Camargue
Rice from Camargue in France is very popular. Each field is surrounded by a border of reeds.
