Switzerland and Germany are so amazingly beautiful. These pictures certainly do not do justice to the breathtaking sights, but I hope you enjoy them anyway. It was so nice to finally see my family. My brother, his wife and my 2 nieces moved to Germany a year ago. This was my first time seeing them since they moved there. *Heart*

Pictures don't do it justice. Photo: Where we stayed in Engelberg, Switzerland
This is where we stayed in Engelberg, Switzerland. There were floor-to-ceiling views throughout the place. There wasn't a bad view! Photo: My nieces welcomed us with sidewalk chalk art.
My nieces, Payton (5) and Ella (18 months), wrote a welcome for us in sidewalk chalk. They had a little help from their mommy.

My niece, Ella, is 18-months-old. Isn't she cute? Photo: Schloss (Castle) Hohenschwangau
This is Schloss (Castle) Hohenschwangau. As awesome as this castle is, its sister castle, Neuschwanstein, is even more amazing. Photo: Schloss (Castle) Neuschwanstein
Schloss (Castle) Neuschwanstein was Walt Disney's real-life inspiration for Sleeping Beauty's Castle in Disneyland, CA. Photo: My niece, Payton, and I

This is Lake Alpsee in Schwangau, Germany. It's really that blue. The lake is fed from the melting snow of the German Alps. The water is so pure and full of minerals, it's a stunning shade... [Click For More]

Schloss (Castle) Neuschwanstein in Schwangau, Germany. Is it any wonder that this was Walt Disney's inspiration? It is magnificent! Photo: Schloss (Castle) Hohenschwangau

A view of some of the vineyards in Esslingen am Neckar, Germany. Photo: A memorial
This is a memorial to the victims of the Nazi regime. It is in Esslingen am Neckar, Germany. It reads"Gerechtigkeit erhöht ein volk aber die sünden ist der völker verderben" which means "... [Click For More] Photo: An outside view of the memorial
Another view of the memorial in Esslingen am Neckar. This is on one of the oldest stone bridges in Germany. It used to be part of the trade route from Flanders to Italy. That's me in the distance... [Click For More]
 Photo: Enjoying Payton's Soccer Practice
We went to watch Payton's soccer practice. Watching 5-year-olds run around trying to play soccer is hilarious. Look at how nice this clubhouse is, though! Photo: Schloss (Castle) Heidelberg
