Merce ~ Merce has been with me since he was only a few days old. He was found in a parking lot. He's nine years old now.

Diamond ~ This girl can't be a barn cat... she has allergies.
Munchkin ~ Her real name is Munchkin, but she has a character in the books... Queen Cleopatra.

Coffee ~ My favorite coffee mug goes everywhere.
Trooper the tripawd ~ Troo has only three legs. He was found on the roadside with one broken, and it had to be amputated. Most expensive rescue ever... but worth it.

Vicious ~ Vicious in real life... is a rooster.
Indi ~ The character Champ is based on my boy Indi, who was nearly named Champ.

Maverick ~ Maverick is actually my current working Service Dog. I don't talk about it much, but I have MS and anaphylactic allergies, and have battled with PTSD. Mav is trained for a wide range of tasks.

Storms are coming ~

Dove ~ Sometimes birds get stuck in the barn or the pens. This dove was very dazed in a chicken pen, so I moved it to somewhere safe while it recovered.

Sheep! ~ We have mostly katahdin sheep, but there are two little shetland mixes are in the flock.
