No Rating Without Reviewing! Poll Rated:

Should there be an option which would refuse to accept ratings without a review?
by: Chriswriter View wordwarrior's Portfolio. [Offline / Private]Email User: wordwarrior [Offline / Private] Avg Rating: (47)

 Poll Question:

Some people have complained about receiving ratings without a review, and would like to be able to refuse to allow a rating to be left without a review.

Ignoring for a moment the sheer amount of work it would be to program this,

Should writers have an option within "Allow Ratings" which would set it up so a rating cannot be left without including a review?

Should a minimum length be required for the review?

Should this enforced review be allowed to be anonymous?

Would you then rate & review such items?

 Poll Options:

    1. Yes, I'd like to be able to do this.
    2. Yes, I probably wouldn't use it on my work, but it should be an option.
    3. Yes, I'd like the option, but the review should require a minimum length.
    4. Same as 3, but the review should be allowed to be anonymous.
    5. Same as 3, but the review can't be anonymous.
    6. I don't care if the option is available or not.
    7. I don't care, and I don't think you could enforce it anyway. People could just put nonsense words in the review.
    8. No, the whole idea is just silly.
    9. No, and I would refuse to rate & review such items
