 Paragraph Spacing
Inspired by Vern, how do you like to see paragraphs spaced?

 Poll Question:

There is a range of ways to show new paragraphs that's in use at Writing.Com. Sometimes it's appropriate (and great!) to creatively use triple spacing or more, or to center or right align your text, This poll is not concerned with these examples in well-designed layout, but rather with the spacing in multi-paragraph stories or prose, or multi-stanza poetry. Thus, the options considered are:

*Balloon1*Double space, no indent

*Paragraph**Paragraph*

*Balloon2*Double space with an indent
*Paragraph**Paragraph*{indent}

*Balloon3*Single space with an indent
*Paragraph*{indent}

*Balloon4*Single space, no indent
*Paragraph*

Here are some examples so you can see which one you prefer. The examples are taken from my blog, "la vie quotidienne, snapshots:

I came home to Orion greeting me at the door. On the outside of the door. Where he habitually isn't but this time was.

Then I opened the door.

Then about half of Taipei's mosquito population came flying out. The other half is still in the room with me. And the reasons I have no bug spray are:
1. We have screens on the windows -- had, and... (from entry "Invalid Entry)

         The first time you held someone's hand. The first time you noticed the heat of Spring.

         Do you remember how poignant that was?

         And somewhere, somewhen, life dulled. Maybe it was after the third marriage or the fourth lover, maybe it was after the kids broke yet another of your grandmother's dishes. Or after you got passed over for another promotion. Somewhere, somewhen, life dulled and you became grown up and sophisticated.

         This isn't life.

         Will you come with me down the Yellow Brick Road to your beginnings? Would you greet life with the wonder and trust of the first time, again?... (from entry "Invalid Entry)

         Out with a long lost friend - I thought he'd been exported, or extradited, or disappeared, or something like that. Then I found him again and we had the bright idea of exchanging emails so we could stay in touch through exciting events, Heaven forfend. Then we saw a pig - a pet pig walking around Starbucks. Very cute. It was wearing a blouse and the sheepdog it was with had a ponytail. Cute reigns.
         He told me about someone he knows who's pulled his whole life together due to a major inspiration. Life is like that: we get inspired, see the light, and do things like leave lucrative jobs for a dream. I left high tech management & consulting to teach English in Taiwan and write a movie, with no training. The guy my friend knows left high tech, too, to become a dentist.
         Right then, my friend and I couldn't think of anything to say. We were both trying to grasp the concept of being inspired to become a dentist.... (from entry "Invalid Entry)

Why don't we say, "Have you been to Taipei 101?"
The United States of America, as opposed to any other set of states.
The blue fish, not the red ones. Oh, names. Okay: The Blue Fish, the best pub in town for Newfies, not those substandard venues lacking in fiddles and cod.
The Taipei 101? I'm like huh? Not the other 101? But that's the whole point about the 101: there is only one building... (from entry "Invalid Entry)

Which spacing convention do you prefer to read?
