 Poll Question:

I was watching an episode of the Montel Williams show yesterday in which Montel's guests all had something to do with an "Affair that Changed Their Lives". Basically, the episode focused on adult women (teachers specifically) that preyed on teenage boys. It was pointed out numerous times that had it been a MALE teacher and a female student, the charges AND punishments in all cases would have been more severe.

My question to you is this:
Should an adult woman be treated differently than an adult male in the case of statutory rape?

 Poll Options:

Absolutely not. A child is a child, whether they are 7 or 17.
I think charges should be specifically tailored to each particular case.
Are you kidding me? Does this even need to be asked?
    I have no opinion.
