Poll Question:

I'm aware that it's really hard (if not impossible) to compare legends of different sports, or even the same sport considering how much they've all evolved over the years, but who do you think stands above all the rest the most? Who do you think is a player that will never meet his match again?

For me, there are a couple. Garry Kasparov, Wayne Gretzky (although as a Czech patriot I'd love to say Jaromir Jagr, but the realist in me says otherwise) and the black horse in my poll: Emil Zatopek. (again, i apologize for the Czech bias, but winning three olympic medals in 5K, 10K and the Marathon [which he'd run for the first inme in his life] in a span of nine days...)

I'd also love to write people like Jan Zelezny, but although he's done something completely unprecedented (three gold medals and one silver in 4 olympic games) the Javelin probably isn't the most popular sport, same with Roman Sebrle (decathlon) or the Norwegian Ole Einar Bjørndalen. (biathlon)
