Should Monetary Gifts have Strings?
If you are given money as a gift, should the giver tell you how to spend it?

 Poll Question:

I am sure all of us have received money as gifts. I have a certain family member who, when she gives me money, tries to tell me how it should be spent. She extends this to other members of the family, and they totally disregard her. I also do this and spend the money as I need to, not her way.

Do you feel that the giver of a monetary gift has the right to tell the receiver how it should be spent?

 Poll Options:

    I am neutral
