Poll Question:

Watching the news the other night I hear the announcement that the American Red Cross is out of finances to aide our Midwesterners now under water. With the economy the way it is, I am sure donations are down. WIth the amount of farm land flooded and crops destroyed...it is going to get worse.

I believe in helping where we can. I had the opportunity to go to Haiti three years ago on a mission trip and I do not regret going at all. However, my wife had a great point when I returned home. She said there are those that need your help here. My last two mission trips have been to Florida and New Orleans. We are already planning a trip to the MidWest.

My question to you is, do you think that the United States sends too much aide out of the country leaving its own high and dry when trouble hits at home?
