When you're reading a book, do you ever find yourself thinking, "A guy would never react like that," or "Guys don't say things like that."
Well, I'm doing research for the male characters in my book, and would like to know how a variety of male personalities handle strong emotions and emotional situations. I'm looking for realistic responses here to create the most believable characters possible in my story.
In my book, the male characters deal with high stress in the search for a missing loved one. They experience fear, anger, life-endangering situations, and the need for courage in dangerous circumstances. Please give this some honest thought and answer accordingly if you can. Your answer may just help other female authors wondering the same questions about truthful male reactions in their stories. Thanks!
