There is a big difference between acoustic and electric guitar some of the main points being the tone produced, ease to play and the portability. Acoustic Guitar is harder to play than electric, has very warm natural tone (like a soft relaxing whisper from your Girlfriend) and not to mention you don't need electricity or an amplifier. Electric guitar is considerably easier to play and has a broad range of effects you can use such as distortion and chorus but it requires electricity and an amplifier of some sort and it is harder maintain because it has moving parts and needs intonated and set up every couple years. So which do you like better?
