Most of my writing.com pieces are short stories. Every so often, a little poetry will creep in and overwhelm me, but most of my writings are fictional through and through.

My first Writing.com story, "Coffee Stains" , and the majority of my subsequent pieces came about because of various contests. Thus, although I have a seperate folder for "Contest Entries" , they are just the leftovers. Although many of my stories started from a prompt, I've taken great pride in further developing them. Thus, please don't shy away from something because it is contest-based; the odds are good that I will take it further.
