The Evolution of Dotter

My mom was an aunt
And I was her daughter-

'till I became mom
Giving her a granddaughter.

My daughter became mom
And I the grandmother-

Granddaughter became mom
Having borne a daughter.

Great grandmother survives
Becoming the dotter.

Evolution continues
My turn to become dotter.

We continue to evolve-
We become dotter and dotter.
