I have not written very many poems before. In fact, before I joined Writing.Com, I only wrote two or three! I read and loved it, but never tried to write it. Though at first I avoided it purposefully, I have found a wonderful new thing in poetry.

Most of the poems I've written were done while I was feeling some strong emotions, and I try to portray those emotions through the poetry. As a new poet, I'm definitely eager to try new things and learn. I commend all of you poets out there! This is definitely harder than it looks. Thanks so much for taking the time to look around!
