         A fairly typical poetry folder I think. A touch of this, a smattering of that, and a whole lotta random! Some of the poems are personal, but most are not (or are written from a character perspective) with even a few parodies thrown in for fun.

A warm and squishy place for my poetry to reside, safe and free from the harsh cold sharpness of reality.

I have moved the poems I wrote when I was a child to their own folder. I have them here more or less for sentimental value, and to show how far I've come with my writing. I've also created a folder for contest-inspired writings, which has some poems in it as well. Be sure to check it out too. ^_^

With any of my poems though, if you would like to know the story behind them, or why I phrase things a certain way, etc., please feel free to ask. I'll gladly explain. ^_^

Note added on 4/5/05: I submitted "Undefined Error" to my college's Literary Magazine, and they've chosen it for publication. ^_^
         Amendment to note: They also chose "Crimson Tears"! Quite a pleasant surprise!
