The Crescent City is a place of history, magic, true love, and cold blood. Even proper young ladies can be caught up in dangerous plots, mystierious strangers, deadly secrets, and brilliant green eyes. Where love is only a fairytale, and money and power control everything, can one girl save the one she loves from a hopeless future? And can she find happiness in her own?

Note:All of the chapters here are WIP and will be updated when I have time. There are still a lot of changes I plan on making but right now I'm trying to focus on getting more chapters up and actually finishing the book. Then I'll be ready for some major revising. So please let me know what you think, but realize that these chapters aren't completely what I want them to be yet and still have big problems. Any suggestions are welcome and I hope you enjoy the story for now.
