It all started the day Summer died. Now her restless spirit is scorching the planet Maroon-- named for the color of its rocks despite what some of its inhabitants may tell you-- into barron desert. Pye (Autumn) is the top suspect in Maeve's (Summer) murder, and the only reason Bidelia Pandora (Winter) hasn't executed her is because the planet can't afford to lose another season. Instead Pandora sends Pye on a mission to retrieve Pandora's Box from her temple in the north. If Pye fails to return with the box, Pye's life is forefit. Can Pye return with the box and pacify Summer's Spirit to save her life and her planet? Only this novel/book/thing can tell.
