This is the home of
The Ledger Story. This story was started by one of my friends and I in our basketball band. We don't really care for basketball much, so we started passing around a ledger, hence the name. Everyone would add about a page, and it's turned out to be a really good story. Now we're on our second ledger, and this is the end result, after extensive editing on my part (some people can't spell very well or they don't have good grammar), I have put this on-line. I have also added some notes about Kalmlandrith (the continent that the story takes place on) and the characters, and I have begun an edited version of the story. There is also a short story that I wrote for my school's literary magazine that tells the full story of Eiremist. There are some activities that I added as well just for the fun of it. Feel free to add to our interactive version; we would like new ideas!
Also, here is some praise that we received from

that we appreciated and felt like sharing:
"An added bonus is your witty, humorous commentary, playing off the original ledger story (on that thread, at least), which adds to the basic fun of interactives to begin with.
I admit that at first, while humored nicely, I was thrown off the interactive by its lack of direction, I ultimately found that its 'lack' is actually its strength, as it directs the readers/participants to literally become a part not only of the story, but of the subplots and subtexts of the PEOPLE behind the stories - a very rare and highly admirable achievement. Whether that was your intent or not (i.e. perhaps I'm reading too much into this thing of yours), doesn't matter: great interactive, Longfellow, happy writing, and thanks for the relief!"
