Usually when I write short stories, I'm just playing around with different writing styles, perspectives, themes, characters, personalities, ideas, or I'm just bored. Often I'll find myself memorializing a dream or a daydream, or just a healthy fantasy. So expect to find variety here, because I think that short stories are a perfect playground for writers.
