Purely by accident, I stumbled upon the correlation between poetry and song lyrics. I was writing a poem, "Immortalized" , when I started humming the words as I was writing them. I hummed them a few times along with the lines before it and I found them in perfect rhythm. Then I sang them aloud. To hear what I had written being said aloud with such a rhythm as you almost wondered where the music was, was a beautiful sound!

I don't have the most experience with song writing, but I think I may have just found another passion for my portfolio...

Please give me your honest feedback of any of my song lyrics you read. I am trying to learn and grow as a writer, and I can only do that with honest and open criticism. Don't worry, I can take it. Smile
