2008 was a big year for me. Writing.com became my home away from home and I developed a regular writing practice. This was the year I began calling myself a writer. I entered a lot of WDC writing contests, took classes at the A-1 Writing Academy and began teaching at the New Horizons Writing Academy.

When I read through the stories in this folder, I realize how much I learned as I wrote them, and how much I've learned since. It is an ongoing process, and I welcome your feedback so that I continue to grow in my craft. Thanks in advance!
