In my survey ("Have a Speech/Language/Hearing Problem?" ), 47% of WDC users who responded have experienced some type of communication or swallowing disorder. Another 15% have a child, sibling, or close friend with a disorder. I hope the information below will be useful to the 62% of you so closely touched by these disorders, and that it will be educational to those of you who have not been exposed to these topics.
