I love to experiment and different poetry formats give me that opportunity. I have a special interest in Fibonacci because of my background in financial markets. You can look for some very different and unusual poems in that folder. I prefer traditional Haiku to the anything goes, 5 - 7 - 5 stanzas that currently seem popular. When forced to deviate from the traditional by adding additional stanzas, you will notice that each stanza stands alone as a traditional Haiku. However, in the tradition of Haiku, each stanza contributes to the whole of the poem; a fun challenge that seems to go unnoticed. Recently I wrote my first Villanelle and feel the format suits my personality so look for additional poems in this format.
